14-page classroom pack
Free Reading Comprehension Graphic Organizer Pack
A focused reading-comprehension toolkit for the moves teachers ask students to make again and again: map a story, identify a main idea, track sequence and cause, infer, cite evidence, summarize, analyze theme and point of view, compare texts, and recognize an author's purpose or text structure. The pack starts with a one-page chooser so you can match the organizer to the thinking task instead of handing out the same worksheet for every text.

What is included — and when to use each page
Use the task—not the page design—to choose an organizer. Story structure, hierarchy, chronology, causation, inference, evidence, summary, theme, viewpoint, purpose, structure, and synthesis each need a different scaffold.
How to use this pack without creating worksheet overload
Keep the full PDF as a master file and print only the pages that match the lesson. The page-range control in a normal print dialog makes a multi-page pack more useful than printing the whole set every time.
Model the organizer with a familiar paragraph or short text before asking students to use it independently. A graphic organizer is most effective when students understand the relationship the boxes represent, not just where to write.
Move from organizer to response. After the page is complete, ask for a retell, paragraph, discussion, short constructed response, or self-check so the organizer functions as a thinking scaffold rather than the final product.
